Dev Babu,
Had missed this one. This tree is one of my favourites along with the indian laburnum.

It is so nice you select and portray each type of trees well.each of them even of same species has ist own charachter form and 'attitude'. Just add the time of year of flowering blooming or time of the pics takem for record as you know the best -each tree the same one looks differenty in each of tyhe six seasons.
jack fruit and Karvanda tree on my recent blog -mulshi lake -invited to see them.

Hi Melody thanks to your comment and Kalyanee's comment I checked again and realised that I had wrongly identified the Jarul as the Jacaranda... Thanks for making me search again... regards... Dev

Hi Kalyanee... thanks to your comment I did a thorough check and realised that I had wrongly identified this tree as the jacaranda... it is actually the Jarul.... many thanks... regards.... Dev

Hi Melody... as I told Kalyanee the flowers are lavender or purply-blue... But I would like to check some other features to confirm that I havent wrongly identified this tree... thanks for the visit and the comment.. regards.. Dev

Hi Kalyanee.. thanks for the visit and the info...  According to Pradip Krishen's book The Trees of Delhi which is one of my main sources of information the flowers are lavender or purply-blue... I will check again so that there is no doubt as to which tree this is.
