The aria Nessun Dorma was composed by Giacomo Puccini in the period 1920- 24.

I found this version on Youtube. At last count there were more than 3 million views. If you haven't heard this before then this is the time, and if you have then I am sure that you would love to hear it once more...

The India connection here is through the conductor, Zubin Mehta. According to the Wikipedia article on him:
In 1990, he conducted the Orchestra del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and the Orchestra del Teatro dell'Opera di Roma in the first ever Three Tenors concert in Rome, joining the tenors again in 1994 at the Dodger Stadium, Los Angeles.

This song makes me cry but I have no clue what it's about.... I think that says something when I haven't a clue what they are saying but their voices are so........ wow

Es absolutamente impresionante este concierto de los tres!!!!!

I cannot listen to a good version of this song without crying. This wasn't a good version, this was a FANTASTIC version. So right now I'm weeping.
